You can find our guide for how to make a backup [here](https://help.ggservers.com/en-us/article/how-to-make-a-backup-noz1kf/). So you can find your backups in your root directory of the server as ZIP files. Now, for you to download the backup you want please follow the next steps: 1. Use Filezilla to connect to your server as [this guide](https://help.ggservers.com/en-us/article/how-to-connect-with-filezilla-yl0q5r/) tells. --- 2. Download the ZIP file that you need by dragging it into your PC files side of Filezilla. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/ba33bb39ceb6d800/1_dnl14i.png) --- # ⌨ Test the Backup ⌨ We strongly recommend you test your backup before going deeper into the process. To test your backup you just need to run it into single-player and verify that it is working and that all your constructions are there. To do so please follow the next steps: 1. Unzip the backup you just downloaded. Usually, you do so by right-clicking on it and then click on `Extract Here`. --- 2. Press the Windows key (`⊞ Win`) and type `run`. --- 3. Type `%appdata%\.minecraft` in the box that appears and then press the `Enter` key. Note that this should open the default Minecraft installation folder. Find your `saves` folder and place your world folder you unzipped in step number one there. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/ba33bb39ceb6d800/2_gy73jt.png) --- At the next Minecraft start, you will find your world between your single-player worlds and you will be able to play on it. --- # 🔌 Upload the Backup to Your Server 🔌 After testing the backup and confirming it is not damaged in any way, all you have to do is upload the world folder you tested as a custom world into your server. || ⚠ NOTE ⚠: We have a guide [here](https://help.ggservers.com/en-us/article/how-to-upload-a-world-to-your-server-2g0nyj/) explaining how to upload your custom world to your server, the process is the same. --- To upload your world to your server you will have to use Filezilla. || NOTE: We suggest starting this process by downloading your old world to have a copy of it if needed! To upload your world please do the following: 1. Prepare the new world folder you want to upload and please be sure it is not named the same as your old/ actual world folder name. You will have to note the name of the new world folder. --- 2. Log in to your Multicraft [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login), find the `Custom World` section, paste your new world folder name there (the one you noted in step number one) **without clicking on `Create World` **, and click on `Save`. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/ba33bb39ceb6d800/4_n998iu.png) --- 4. Restart your server. Now you just uploaded your custom world to your server. --- # 🔄 How to Change Between Existing Worlds 🔄 If you restored your world and want by any chance to set back your old world, all you have to do is: 1. Log in to your Multicraft [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login) and stop your server. --- 2. Find the `World` section in your main Multicraft page, click on the drop-down menu, select the wanted world and then click on `Save`. ![](https://storage.crisp.chat/users/helpdesk/website/ba33bb39ceb6d800/3_hczebv.png) ||| To add a new option to the drop-down menu all you have to do is to find the `Custom World` section located under the `World` section, paste the new option you want to add there **without clicking on `Create World` **, and click on `Save`. --- 3. Start your server!
