# How to Turn Off Xbox Authentication for Your Bedrock Server

Xbox authentication is like the `online-mode` for Java servers, but for Bedrock servers.


> If it is set to true then all connected players must be authenticated to Xbox Live.

### 📋 Some Notes:

* Like on Minecraft Java servers, you can enable/disable on Bedrock Edition servers the `online-mode` through the `server.properties` file.
* With this option, you can allow or deny Xbox, Minecraft Windows 10, or MCPE non-authenticated players from joining your server.
* Disabling this option is not recommended because your server will run in an insecure way.

# 🪨 Bedrock Dedicated 🪨

To turn off Xbox authentication for your Bedrock Dedicated server you need to:

1. Log in to your Multicraft panel [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login) and stop your server.

2. Click on `Files`, then on `Config Files`.

3. Click on `Server Settings`.

4. Find the `online-mode` option, set it to `Disabled`, and click on `Save` at the bottom of the page.

5. Start Your Server

You can now open your server by clicking the `Start` button.

Now you just disabled the Xbox authentication for your Bedrock Dedicated server.

# 🎮 PocketMine and NukkitX 🎮

To turn off Xbox authentication for your PocketMine or NukkitX server you need to:

1. Log in to your Multicraft panel [here](https://mc.ggservers.com/site/login) and stop your server.

2. Click on `Files`, then on `Config Files`.

3. Click on `Server Settings`.

4. Find the `xbox-auth` option, set it to `off`, and click on `Save` at the bottom of the page.

5. Start Your Server

You can now open your server by clicking the `Start` button.

Now you just disabled the Xbox authentication for your PocketMine or NukkitX server.

|| On NukkitX you can also use the plugin called [NotMeXboxLiveAuth](https://nukkitx.com/resources/notmexboxliveauth.179/) to setup everything related to Xbox Authentication.
