How to Update Your Minecraft Server to 1.20.X



Minecraft just released the 1.20 update, and with it come new game features that can help you immerse yourself in the experience.

At GGServers, updating your Minecraft server to the 1.20.X version is simple and fast. With our custom and easy-to-use game panel (Multicraft) the update process is very easy!

We recommend you always take a backup of your world and download it to your computer before any update. Here is our guide for making a backup and downloading it for Java servers, and here is the one for Bedrock.


📝 How to Update Your Server to 1.20.X 📝



To update your server to 1.20.X, you will have to:

Log in to your Multicraft panel here and stop your server.


Switch to the 1.20.X version.

If you are running Vanilla Latest, you will just have to click on the Update button.

If you are running Bedrock Dedicated, you will just have to click on the Update button.

If you are not running any of the ones mentioned above, you will have to click on Server Type and select Vanilla 1.20.X, Spigot 1.20.X, or Paper 1.20.X according to the version and server type you want.

NOTE ⚠: If you want to keep the same world, you will have to click on Keep the Current World when asked.

Start your server.

You just changed your server to the 1.20.X version.
