How to Change Your Server's Level-Type

This guide will show you how to properly change the level-type option for your server. This option can be found in the server.settings file from your root directory of the server.
The level-type option is used to generate custom worlds type. Most world generating mods and plugins require a custom level-type option.
⚠ NOTE ⚠: If you want to set a custom level-type added by a plugin or mod, like the BIOMESOP level-type option that the mod Biomes O' Plenty needs, you will have to change it manually, not using the Multicraft feature. Level-Types that are completely custom (added by a mod or plugin) need to be set up manually.
⚠ NOTE ⚠: If you want to set a custom level-type for any of the mods mentioned above you will also have to generate a new world after changing the level-type for the changes to take place.
🔩 Changing the Level-Type via Multicraft 🔩
If you want to change your level-type to one of the predefined existing ones, then the most simple way is to use the Multicraft feature. If you want a custom level-type (added by a mod or a plugin) you will have to set it manually.
The pre-existing level-type options we provide are the following
- Standard World
- Flat World
- Large Biomes
- Amplified Height Limit
To change the level-type via the Multicraft and generate a new world you need to:
Login into your Multicraft, and stop your server.
Find the World section and click on Create New.

Select the Level Type option you want, put a World Name and click on Create.

Start your server and the new world will automatically be generated according to the level-type you selected.
Now you just created a custom world using a specific level-type option from the ones we provide.
🔌 Changing the Level-Type Manually 🔌
For any mod or plugin that adds a custom world generator, the level-type will be one that you will not find in your Multicraft, so you will have to change it manually.
Ones of the most known mods that require a custom level-type option are:
Botania: Garden of Glass
Open Terrain Generator
Biomes O' Plenty
BiomeBundle
To change your level-type manually you will have to:
Login into your Multicraft, and stop your server.
Find the World section and click on Create New.

Select nothing for the Level Type option, put a World Name and click on Create.

Click on Files, then on FTP files access and log in.

Find the file called server.settings which is located in the root directory of the server, click on it, and click on Edit.

Find level-type= and set it to the level-type you want (like BIOMESOP or botania-skyblock depending on the mod/ plugin you are using for generating the world), then click on Save.

Start your server and the new world will be automatically generated accordingly to the level-type you selected.
Now you just set up a custom level-type option and generated a world with it.
