This article will show you how to properly join your ARK game server.

You are able to get ARK either on Steam, either on Epic Game Launcher.

Also, please note that here, at GGServers, you will get an IP and Port assigned to your ARK server.

🎮 Using Steam 🎮

In order to join your ARK server via Steam you will have to do the following:

Open your Steam client and click on View, then on Servers.




Click on FAVORITES.




Click on Add A Server and put your server IP:Port in the address box. Then click on ADD THIS ADDRESS TO FAVORITES.




Open your ARK game and click on Join ARK.




You will be able to filer the resoults in the bottom left of the window. Select Favorites for the Session Filter.




Click on Refresh, then you should be able to see your server there and join it!

Now you just connected to your ARK server via Steam!

🕹️ Using Epic Game Launcher 🕹️

In order to join your ARK server via the Epic Game Launcher you will have to do the following:

Open your ARK game and click on HOST/LOCAL in the menu.




Click on Play Single Player and start your game.

Please note that it does not matter what you select in the single-player options, you will anyway join your server.




When loading, just press TAB and open the ARK game console.


Type in your console open (server IP):7777 and press Enter. After doing so you will be connected to your server.



Now you just connected to your ARK server via the Epic Game Launcher.

NOTE: There still isn't any way to join your ARK server from the main menu using the Epic Game Launcher.
