This article will show you how to view and change your world's seed.

What is a world seed?

The world seed is a code that the game uses to generate the world. Each Minecraft version has different seeds, a seed you used in 1.13 won’t work in 1.14.

How do I view my current seed?

You can get your world seed by running the /seed command. For this command you’ll need to be an OP.

If you aren't "opped" yet, please read our How to: OP Yourself on Your Minecraft Server article.

You can also execute seed in your server console to view the seed.

How to use a new seed?

You can generate a new world with a new seed using the "Create a New World" option available in your Multicraft.

You can read how to generate a new world here:
How To: Reset your world

Make sure to click on “Save” after adding a new seed!

You're done! The next time you start your server, it will create a new world with the seed you chose.
