Have you ever seen this boring description of your server on the list and wondered how you could change it?

Don’t worry, you are not alone.

This guide will show you how to properly edit your MOTD.

🧬 The Color Generator Tool 🧬

To set up a MOTD for your server you need to first create it properly adding all text styles and colors you want.

To do so, you will have to use our Color Text Generator:

1. Log in to your Multicraft here.

2. Click on Tools, then on MC Color Generator.

Now you just created your MOTD and you have to set it up for your server.

3. Use the tools there to make create the MOTD you want and then copy it somewhere, we will need it in the next step.

📣 Setting Up a MOTD 📣

You can set up your MOTD either using our MOTD tool, either manually in the server settings.

💠 The MOTD Tool

To set up your MOTD you need to do the following:

1. Log in to your Multicraft here and stop your server.

2. Click on Appearance, then on MOTD Tool.

3. Paste the MOTD you created with the MC Color Generator tool in the box titled MOTD Text, then click on Set MOTD.

4. Start your server.

Now you just set the MOTD of your server.

💠 Setting Up the MOTD Manually

To set your MOTD manually you need to do the following:

1. Log in to your Multicraft panel here and stop your server.

2. Click on Files-> Config Files.

3. Click on Server Settings.

4. Find the section called Message of the Day, paste there the MOTD you created with the Color Generator tool, then click on Save.

5. Start your server.

Now you just manually set your MOTD.
