With the passing of time, with so many constructions, mods, or even plugins, everything starts to get heavy. Or when you are wanting to play a different modpack in our list but still can not because the server does not start with several illegible, unreadable errors.

If you change between our server types you need to do a clean installation which WILL DELETE ALL YOUR SERVER FILES (INCLUDING BACKUPS). Please backup first what you need to your PC using Filezilla.

Here is our guide on how to use Filezilla

🔬 How to Do a Clean Installation 🔬

To do a clean install you have to:

Log in to your Multicraft panel here and stop your server.

Click on Files and then on Setup.

Select the Template (server type/modpack) you want to set your server with, then check the Delete All Server Files box and type your Multicraft password.

Click on Apply, then go back to your main Multicraft page and start your server.

NOTE: The setup will start at the first server start, so be sure to actually start your server after setting the Setup.

Now you know how to do a clean installation.

If you find any issues doing a clean install please contact us on live chat or via the ticket system.
