The most recent server type Mohist allows you to run both, Mods and Plugins, at the same time on a server.
This article should help you on how you can install and use it on your Server.

❓ What Is Mohist ❓

Developed by the Mohist Team team, the most recent Mohist server type is a Minecraft Forge Server Software that Implements Paper/Spigot/Bukkit API.

So you will be able to use mods and Bukkit/ Spigot plugins at the same time on 1.12.2.

⚠ But be careful! ⚠

Mohist version is currently running on 1.12.2!
Before starting your server, please, double-check if you've installed all Mods and Plugins correctly as those must be able to run on 1.12.2!

NOTE: Mohist is still under development and there may be a compatibility issue between the mods and plugins you add.

🎴 How to Install Mohist 🎴

If you are running a 1.12.2 modpack or a 1.12.2 modded server and you want to switch it to Mohist without losing your progress please do the following:

Log in to your Multicraft account here and stop your server.


Click on Server Type and select Mohist.




Click on Save and start your server.



Now you just changed your modded server to Mohist without losing your files.

🔎 How to Add Mods 🔎

To add mods to your server you need to upload the mods to your 'mods' folder of the server using Filezilla, then restart the server as you would normally do for a modded 1.12.2 server.

🔎 How to Add Plugins 🔎

To add plugins to your server you need to upload the plugins to the 'plugins' folder of the server using Filezilla, then restart the server as you would normally do for a plugins 1.12.2 server.

NOTE: You can use the /plugins to see the active plugins of the server.

🔩 Client-Side Set Up 🔩

To connect to a 1.12.2 Mohist server you just need to set up Forge 1.12.2 into your PC and the mods that the server is running.
